With over ten years of experience as an editor on both short and long documentaries, her work has screened at festivals such as SXSW, Hot Docs, and featured on NYT, National Geographic, and Time.
Her work on long form content includes feature documentaries such as Remaining Native, Our Turn to Talk, and Picturing the Obamas, a two-part special that premiered on the Smithsonian Channel. Stephanie has had the pleasure of contributing to several non-fiction series such as Vox Media Studio’s Glad You Asked, the PBS series The Future of America’s Past. In 2019-2020, she was named a Karen Schmeer Diversity in the Edit Room Fellow and in 2022 she was selected as Sundance Story & Edit Lab Fellow.
Her work on short films such as Sheila and Joe (NPR / Talking Eyes) placed 2nd in the Documentary Daily Life at Pictures of Year and Death Metal Grandma was awarded Best Documentary at the Emerging Filmmakers Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival.
